I have used the mask every 2-3 days for a month and I think the age spots of my face have faded a bit. The more interesting thing is I have arthritis in my shoulder that has prevented me from lifting my arm above shoulder level for about a year. I decided to put the two mask pieces on my shoulder, front and back, and ran it for 15 minutes on the highest red setting with IR and after one session I could raise my arm straight up over my head with no pain. It was pretty amazing! It is not supposed to be used that way, of course, so I am going to order one of the box units to see what a higher-powered device can do over a bigger area.
