Two-Stage Filtration

The UltraLux Water Machine uses a unique two-stage filtration process for amazingly clean water. The first filter is a carbon composite filter, which removes particulates, sludge, colloids, suspended matter, and some heavy metals. The water then moves to the second stage, the reverse osmosis membrane filter.

Reverse osmosis is a filtration method where water is forced through a semipermeable membrane. This membrane allows water droplets through, but traps contaminants and impurities, thus filtering the water as it passes through. The water then goes through a post activated carbon filter. The reverse osmosis carbon filter removes bacteria, viruses, chlorine, total organic carbon, pharmaceuticals, and volatile organic chemicals.

Self Cleaning With UVC

The UltraLux Water Machine has a cleaning advantage that no other RO system does: UVC cleaning technology. UVC is a specific type of light that works as a sanitizing agent.

A normal RO membrane has to be frequently cleaned to kill and remove bacteria and viruses that have been filtered out. The UltraLux Machine uses UVC sanitization to immediately kill any bacteria or viruses caught in the RO membrane — ensuring that you’re getting the cleanest water with the lowest maintenance available. The UVC light is on every time that water passes through the RO membrane.

Long-Lasting Filter Life

Both filters have been designed to have a long life span. The machine also comes with an internal filter tracker and will notify you when a filter needs to be replaced.

The carbon composite filter (CBPA) can last up to 1 year before needing to be replaced.* Up to 2000 gallons of water.

The RO membrane filter (ROCB) can last up to 2 years before needing to be replaced.* Up to 1000 gallons of water.

Easy Filter Replacement Design

Both filters are designed to easily unscrew from the top of the machine and then can be lifted out.

Hydrogen Electrolysis

The UltraLux Water Machine uses powerful electrolysis to dissolve hydrogen nanobubbles into the water. The machine can create up to 1.8 parts per million (ppm) of hydrogen. That’s more than 3 times above the minimum therapeutic amount.

The UltraLux Water Machine is designed to function as an undercounter water machine. Because of this, every machine comes with a stainless steel digital faucet.

Installation Reimbursement Available

The UltraLux Water Machine can be installed by most people, especially those who have some experience in home improvement or repair. For those who are not handy or prefer not to install the UltraLux Water Machine themselves, we provide an installation reimbursement of up to $150. Water Pressure Requirements

Required Pressure Range: 0.1-0.4 MPa (14.5-58 PSI)
Most U.S. homes have 40-80 PSI. If your pressure exceeds 58 PSI, you must install a pressure reducer to prevent damage.
