The UltraLux Home Prefilter is an excellent addition to your water system, designed to protect your appliances, safeguard your pipes, and extend the lifespan of your other water filters. Acting as the first line of defense, it ensures cleaner water throughout your home.
The main fittings include 1″-in. male threads, with optional 3/4″-in. brass adapters for added flexibility.
Filtering Components & Capabilities
Equipped with a flushable and reusable 40-micron stainless steel mesh screen, the UltraLux Prefilter effectively removes larger particles, such as:

Easy Installation and Maintenance
Minimal tools are required for installation. Simply place the filter in a flexible area of your plumbing line. For areas without fittings, a tube cutter can be used to integrate the filter easily.
- Main fittings: 1″-in. male threads with optional 3/4″-in. brass adapters.
- Includes a convenient filter-removal tool to easily take out and rinse the mesh screen to clear accumulated particulates.
- Optional 3/8″-in. PEX pipe Quick Connect fitting at the bottom allows versatile secondary connections. Approximately 2 feet of PEX pipe is included.
